Cahokia Pots The mounds of Cahokia are ancient remains of a Mississippian, Native American Tribe. The nation at Cahokia had a complex social structure, government and city planning. They were sun worshipers and created a large sun dial called woodhenge. The Cahokians were also accomplished potters. Several motifs and pictorial images carved on pots were of the sun and regional wildlife. My two lidded pots are in homage to the Cahokians. Accompanied
