Hobo Scarf

Hobos were - and are - an interesting people. Due to our high speed lifestyle, I fear that we have lost a noble quality that the hobo life exemplifies; resourcefulness. Hobos were the reducers, re-users and recyclers. Inspired by this lifestyle, I created a scarf that the resourceful hobo might appreciate. It is composed of a series of horizontal stripes in different stitch patterns and knitted in left over yarns. We all have it; let’s use it! My least favorite knitting task is weaving in the loose ends. Well, this scarf lets it all hang out. Enjoy your hobo scarf and that great feeling of being resourceful.
